This image was taken on a night drive in Sabi Sand Game Reserve in 2011. Sabi Sand is part of what is known as the 'Greater Kruger' - a cluster of private game reserves that border the western side of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. I am a wildlife and travel photographer and blogger – mainly about safari destinations in southern Africa and wildlife photography, gear and so on. I have been taking photographs in the African bush for more than 20 years and I still find wonderment out there.
