I was on a photo tour in the Svalbard archipelago to photograph wildlife, focusing on polar bears and walruses. We find two bears feeding on a walrus carcass on the ice.
We approached with our sailing boat and "anchored" on the ice. We stayed there a few days observing the bears eating, coming and going away.
On the second day, this bear was attracted to us and came close and tried to climb on the boat. We took pictures with the other fellows with a wide-angle lens before convincing the bear to live. It was quite an exciting moment.
