In Dec 2022, I visited Sweetwater Nature Preserve in Gainesville, Florida. I noticed this Snail Kite bird which comes under the Hawk family, waiting eagerly for prey.
It was so close that I could get it with my SIGMA 70-300mm lens using NIKON D800. Since its beak is a bit curvy, it got the ability to snatch snails. Nearby I noticed a number of snail shells, too.
