We were travelling in the Savuti area in the Chobe National Park of Botswana. It had rained a little bit, and we were driving in the dry Savuti riverbed when we saw this impala and fawn on top of the rim, which made for that excellent low-angle photo opportunity.
Impalas drop their babies after the first rains, which is a feast for the predators as they are an easy target.
