While visiting Alaska a few years ago, I took a kayak trip into LeConte Bay in southeastern Alaska.
LeConte Bay is six miles long and its terminus ends at the LeConte Glacier. The bay is a seal rookery and many of the icebergs that calved off the glacier were occupied by seals and pups. What really caught my eye though was the two Bald Eagles perched atop a large iceberg.
