It was early Spring and the salmon weren't running yet so the local Bald Eagles were at the tide flats, feeding on the early runs of hooligan and herring.
I arranged myself close to their typical flight path and waited for them to fly by. In this shot, two adult eagles were approaching when one suddenly took a hard left (thus my title: "Sudden Course Correction"). Hate it when that happens, especially when they don't use their turn signal!
