I was out in my backyard and I saw this adorable male American Goldfinch singing away at this fake bird feeder. This American Finch did everything to get this black metal bird to pay attention to him. He would get close, and sing softly or ignore it. This behavior of the American Finch continued there for a long time and I just kept taking its photo, and his black metal friend.
Soon the Finch started singing loudly and still the black metal bird did not move. Next, the American Goldfinch then flew away from it hoping the black metal bird would fly towards him and join him. Nope, the bird just stayed motionless onto the metal bird feeder. The American Goldfinch moved back where the black metal bird was and continued to do whatever it took to get this bird to notice this very handsome male bird.
This metal bird just stared at the Finch, and soon the bird put its head down to its chin and looked like to me it was doing a lot of bird crying. Guess what bird tears did not do anything either? So do you have any idea what the Finch did? Well, I am the photographer and all I can say, it took off so quickly I could not get its photo. I looked everywhere and could not find the most handsome American Goldfinch, and I truly looked everywhere. Do you have an ending to my story, do you have an idea what this Finch did? I do need an ending to my story
