On my last trip to Salalah in Sultanate of Oman, I was on the look out for raptors at Wadi Hanna sea watching site, which was lonely except for few gracing camels. The area was devoid of any vegetation except for occasional flowering Calotropis procera shrubs. From a distance I could see a raptor perching on one of the scrubs, which on closer look turned out to be Bonelli’s eagle.
