This male leopard steadily approached a water hole in Yala national park early one morning to satisfy his craving for thirst. The lighting was ideal for taking photographs. This lovely backdrop is created by golden sunshine kissing the forests.
We were able to snap a lot of shots since the leopard stayed by the water hole for about 10 -15 minutes. The wind was howling, and it was a chilly day. The leopard was unconcerned about our presence, and we cared to remain a safe distance from it. I utilised a Nikon D850 with a 200-500mm f5.6 lens.
