It's an awesome sight to behold when these Pelicans fly low and scoop up water into their pouch that can hold up to 3-4 gallons of water. These pelicans are nesting in Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary and this scooping up of water in flight is done by parenting Pelicans for their thirsty chicks.
