Deer Carcass And Eagles, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, USA

I found a whitetail deer carcass just outside town. The deer had most likely been killed by a car. Over the next few days, quite a few eagles visited the carcass. Some of the eagles were mature, some were young. They sometimes shared and sometimes fought over the carcass. It was an amazing encounter.
